5. Conclusions
5.1 Summary of
findings
We
have come to the conclusion that plants can grow under artificial lights such
as LED lights, and our aeroponics system was mostly successful in helping the
plants grow. As plants are able to grow under artificial light, this means that
our system will be effective.
5.2 Practical
Applications
Our single-layer farm should function well in crowded areas.
They do not require lots of water or fertile soil and easily controllable
environments.
5.3 Areas for further
study
We can also look into more efficient ways of watering the
plants with better sprayers or sprinklers.
This system can be stacked and can save even more space. A
multi-floor concept is also worth looking into.
